The Situation
The subcontractor was awarded incremental work on a federal prison expansion, well beyond the base contract it had capitalized for.
The Constraint
Materials and labor had to be funded ahead of billing cycles, opening a cashflow gap. Traditional financing did not fit the timing or the project-specific complexity.
The Structure
We worked with a non-bank specialty lender to build a line of credit tied to the project’s cashflow, with a repayment plan reviewed weekly and adjusted for weather, materials, and schedule shifts.
The Outcome
The subcontractor maintained procurement and payroll continuity and avoided work stoppages during an accelerated build, completing the project on time and positioning for future federal contracts.
